Banquet Policies
Set up Fees:
Los Vaqueros Stockyards
Outdoor Garden, $250 set-up fee
Southwing Banquet Room, $150 set-up fee
Fiesta Room, $50 set-up fee
Corral Area, $50 set-up fee
Los Vaqueros West:
Trailhouse Banquet Hall, $500 to $1,500 set-up fee
Cuena Vaca Patio, $50 set-up fee
Western Sky Room, $25 set-up fee
Tax Exempt Status: All charges are subject to 8.25% sales tax. If your groups is tax exempt, a
copy of your State Sales Tax Exemption must be provided prior to the scheduled event.
Decoration Policies: Decorations and decorating materials may not be affixed in any manner (nailed, taped or glued) to the physical structure of the building. All decorations must have approval from the management before being brought into the Banquet Hall. White or ivory linens are standard.
Smoking Policies: Please smoke in designated areas only.
Regarding Food and Beverages: All food and beverages must be purchased from Los Vaqueros for all events. No food of any kind may be brought in or taken from the premises with the exception of wedding cakes for Bride and Groom.
Liability on Loss or Damages to Personal Property: Los Vaqueros will not assume any responsibility for the loss of or damages to any merchandise or articles left on the property during or after a scheduled event.
The Gardens at Los Vaqueros: Unnecessary damage to existing plant and garden structures will result in the deposit not being made applicable to the event.
Liquor Policies: Texas State law forbids guests under 21 years of age to consume alcoholic everages. Minors are not allowed to consume alcohol of any kind. Guests who are known or thought to be intoxicated will not be served alcohol. Texas Sate law prohibits beverages from being brought into or taken off the premises.
Security: Security is mandatory when alcoholic beverages are served at any event. All security will be contracted through Los Vaqueros and a fee for said security will be billed at Twenty-Five Dollars ($25.00) per hour with a minimum of three (3) hours. Los Vaqueros will determine the number of security officers required for each event. The determination will be based on the number of attendees and the bar package selected for each event.
Payment: Full payment is required at the end of the event. All payments and deposits become non-refundable in the event of cancellation. Any additional charges will be billed after the event and are due within ten (10) business days. After this date, the balance will be subject to a 1.5% late charge. We accept personal checks, MasterCard®, Visa®, American Express®.
Service Charges and Taxes: All charges are subject to a 20% service and an 8.25% sales tax excluding liquor which is not taxed.
